Established in 2018, after hearing of old teammate, Mike Crisp, having been diagnosed with MND, we set about our mission to raise a few quid specifically for 'Crispy's own Pain in the ALS campaign, as well as the wider MNDA community.
With the generosity of sponsors we were able to purchase playing kit, players quickly came on board without a second thought, and so we played our very first game on Saturday 22nd September 2018. From there we’ve gone on to play against some fantastic teams culminatiing in over £40,000 being raised for MNDA charities to date.
One ethos important to us was, that despite the sad reality of why we’re doing what we are, we wanted to maintain the spirit of rugby the way we used to play the game, hard and competitive with an aftermatch full of song and beer.
Our black, white, and orange playing kit was inspired by the what is greatest ever invitational team, the Barbarians. So taking their simple black and white model, and with the adaptation of orange to represent the MNDA charity, we created what has fast become the infamous (and stylish) Egg Chasers identity.
We have a wide range of off field stash for both men, women, and juniors so everyone can proudly rep the Egg Chasers style. New items are being added all the time so keep checking back in.
Every purchase you make provides a kick back percentage to our MNDA charities, so even though you'll be looking on point, you'll also be doing your bit raising money!
